How to change your TTSD password on a Mac or PC.

In order to improve the security of various systems, we have implemented a password change policy that will require you to change your password every 180 days. We will send email reminders 30, 15, and 7 days before your password expires, so you can change your password before then.

There are two possible methods for changing your password:


Method 1: If you know your password


PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL THE STEPS BEFORE CHANGING YOUR PASSWORD!

The process has changed and you must do all the steps in order to complete the password change process.

 

  1. STEP 1: click here to change your password
    • Note: if you don't use a district assigned computer (you only use an iPad for example) you are now done.
  2. STEP 2: Restart your computer. 
  3. STEP 3: Log in to your computer with your OLD password. 
  4. STEP 4: This window will open automatically for you to type in your username and your NEW password. Click Sign In.
    1. No Window? Click on the key icon on the top right corner near the Wifi and Date & Time icons  and then click Reconnect
  5. STEP 5: Enter your NEW password in the top box.  Enter your OLD password in the bottom box > Sync Password > next pop-up window tap OK






Method 2: if you do not know expired password

  1. If you do not know your password, call x4051. The fix will require that you meet with a technician at one of our schools. 
  2. For technicians, please follow this article to reset the staff login.



Your password must meet these minimum requirements:

  • It cannot be a password you have used in the past 5 password changes,
  • It must be 8 characters long 


NEVER provide your password to anyone or leave on a voicemail message.
