  1. Review the TTSD Remind Communication Guidelines

  2. Review the Which Tool For Communication? KB Article

  3. All staff members, log in to REMIND through Clever: https://clever.com/in/ttsd/

  4. Log in as a teacher, even if you don’t have students


  1. You’ll find the Remind app under the ‘District Page’ tab in Your Clever portal. Push the heart-shaped favorite button and it will move to your homepage. 



  1. Your current classes will be loaded from Synergy and populated with your students and their guardians.

    1. If you need to create a group that isn’t automatically rostered through Synergy, Select the  button and enter participants by their email or phone numbers.

  2. Send a welcome message to your class (students and guardians) to let them know how you will be using Remind. (TEMPLATES)


Send Messages using Remind’s Auto-Translation Feature

Remind allows users to set their Preferred Language and will automatically translate messages sent through Remind. It will also translate any message sent to you if you set your preferred language! Preferred Language is populated into Remind by Synergy, but can be overridden by the user or teacher. Translation needs to be turned on by following these steps.


  1. Review How to send Class announcements in Remind from any device.

  2. Before sending your message, push the translate button.

  3. Check ‘Translate this message’. The dialogue box will show you how many languages it will be translated into. This will need to be done for each class/group, but once turned on, Remind will translate all messages from you. 

  4. Recipients will be able to translate your message back into English or their preferred language if they use the Remind app or website.
